This 5 day safari will include game drives in Queen Elizabeth national park, boat cruises along Kazinga channel and trekking mountain gorillas in Bwindi impenetrable forest. Be ready to enjoy yourself to the maximum.
Day 1: Lake Bunyonyi
You will drive to Lake Bunyonyi which is found east of Bwindi national park for the best wild encounter. You will drive past the equator where you will stop and take pictures or buy a few items for yourself. The drive iss very scenic as you will drive past beautiful farms lands on the slopes which make the place have spectacular views. You then stay the night at Crater bay cottages.
Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi National Park
You will then drive to Bwindi national park early in the morning because gorilla trekking begins very early in the morning. You will be briefed at the park’s headquarters and thereafter you will be led by your guide to whee these creatures are. You will spend a whole 1 hour with them as they continue with their lives regardless of your presence. You will receive a certificate at the headquarters after your trek and you will then be driven back to your cottages to rest and have something to eat as well.
Day 3: Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park
You will enjoy a game drive at Queen Elizabeth national park found in the south west of Uganda. You will arrive at Bufallo Safari resort where you will be welcomed and given something to munch on before heading out for the drive. After your meal you will then head to the Kasenyi trail where you will see plenty of animals fom lions to leopards, buffalos, elephants name it. The driver will be giving ample time to capture every moment. You will then head back to the resort where you will relax by the pool sipping to cold drink as you watch spectacular views of Queen Elizabeth.
After breakfast, you will depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park located in western Uganda.
Day 4: Morning Game drive and afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga Channel
The morning game drive is just a continuation of yesterday’s drive incase you missed anything. Right after that morning game drive, you will go for a boat cruise on Kazinga channel. Here you will see water loving animals like hippos, buffalos, water birds, crocodiles. Kazinga Channel is said to have the highest population of hippos in the world and you will be able to see this for yourself.
Day 5: Drive Back to Kampala/Entebbe
After these exciting days in the wild, you will be driven back to Kampala and then Entebbe where you will be able to get your flight back home.
